Capital City MG Club upcoming events

Walburg Drive and Lunch (April 25, 2026)

Join us for a fun drive to the German Restaurant in Walburg, Saturday morning, April 25. We will depart at 11:15 am for this 30 minute drive on the backroads of eastern Williamson County. Our meeting place for the drive is the northeast corner parking lot of the Round Rock Premium Outlet Mall. The route will take us from modern day Round Rock to the farm life of Williamson County (no low water crossings or cattle guards involved!).

If you wish to skip the drive and meet us in Walburg, you can drive north on IH 35 and take exit 268. Go east on on FM 972 for approximatley 4 miles. The restaurant is on the left.

Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center (June 02, 2026)

Dust off your Little British Car and meet your friends at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center in south Austin at 4801 La Crosse Ave.!

Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and you are encouraged to prepurchase tickets at https://www.wildflower.org/visit.

Wear comfy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a camera, binoculars, and a refillable water bottle. Please note that the Wildflower Cafe on site is currently closed for renovations.
