The Georgetown All-British Squadron (GABS) has a spring drive scheduled on March 23rd. Bluebonnets are blooming along the route so it should be a beautiful drive.
The drive will start in Cedar Park at the Chevron station located at the intersection of FM 1431 and Nameless Road around 11:15 am. If anyone wants to join us at this location, they need to be there by 11:00.
We will take some backroads to the Marble Falls Sunoco station located at 3501 US 281. We will arrive at the Sunoco station around 12:15 and take a short break.
We will leave the Sunoco station at 12:30 and drive north on US 281 to Burnet and have lunch at the Trailblazer Grille. (The manager of the Trailblazer told me that it is usually packed with riders on the Hill Country Flyer train from the time they open until about 12:30 or 1:00 therefore we should arrive as most are headed back to the train.)
The Trailblazer Grille is located on the square in Burnet. There are antique shops, an ice cream shop and a winery tasting room around the square. For those that are interested, we will continue the drive after lunch and drive on Park Road 4 along Inks Lake and finish back in Burnet.
