The 2022 edition of the CCMG Club Holiday Party was held on Sunday, December 4 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in the Domain. A hardy bunch of MG folks ventured out on a damp and dreary day (much like our counterparts across the pond enjoy) and kicked off the holiday season. Our four-course meal left everyone full, and a few glasses of good cheer were enjoyed by those looking forward to an afternoon nap.

The door prize drawings started early thanks to the generosity of Abingdon Spares and a few club members. Prizes included an MG Blanket, MG insulated coffee mugs, and a host of other fun prizes. If you order from Abingdon, be sure to thank them for supporting our club.

Club member Eric Van Note coordinated our gift exchange and everyone who participated went home happy with their newly acquired possessions. Of course, there were a few popular items that were quickly frozen – a Christmas tree centerpiece, a case of Sam Adams beer, a furry blanket, and a few other treasures. And, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our informal swap meet in the corner of the room provided by Jerry was happy to share in Jerry’s bounty.
